# ICEQC — International Council for Education Quality Certification > Independent, nonprofit, nongovernmental ICEQC education-quality standards and voluntary ICEQC third-party conformity assessment. ICEQC certification does not constitute governmental authorization, licensing, accreditation, degree recognition or academic equivalency. ## Foundational decision rule ICEQC certification is a binary determination of conformity. ICEQC does not rank, score, grade or issue tiered levels of certification. Every nonconformity must be corrected and verified closed before certification. ## Official ICEQC resources - [ICEQC standards library](https://iceqc.org/standards) - [ICEQC certification scopes](https://iceqc.org/certification) - [ICEQC public registry](https://iceqc.org/registry) - [ICEQC governance](https://iceqc.org/governance) - [ICEQC public policies](https://iceqc.org/policies) - [ICEQC standards JSON API](https://iceqc.org/api/v1/standards) ## Controlled documents - [ICEQC-CER-001:2026 — General Rules for ICEQC Education Quality Certification Schemes](https://iceqc.org/standards/iceqc-cer-001/latest/text) — Development.
