# ICEQC-CER-002:2026 — Remote Evidence Assessment and Verification Procedure

Defines R-A, R-B and R-C remote evidence modes, authenticity controls, sampling and escalation where remote evidence is insufficient.

## 1 Remote evidence sufficiency **[REQUIREMENT]**

ICEQC shall accept remote evidence only when authenticity, completeness, representativeness and reliability are sufficient for the requirement and scope being assessed.

Evidence expectation: Evidence plan, source authentication, sampling rationale and reviewer record.

## 2 Escalation when evidence is insufficient **[REQUIREMENT]**

Where documents and online review cannot establish conformity, ICEQC shall obtain additional live witnessing, system demonstration, independent laboratory or inspection evidence, narrow the scope, defer the decision or decline certification. ICEQC shall not infer conformity from missing evidence.

Evidence expectation: Escalation decision, revised scope and supplementary evidence.
