- Each controlled document retains a stable document number.
- The document record identifies the edition, version label, status and authoritative language.
- Normative changes are made through an authorized edition or amendment rather than silent replacement of published text.
- Superseded and withdrawn records remain identifiable for historical traceability.
- Structured JSON, accessible text and machine-readable indexes derive from the same public record.
Checking an update
Open the document record from the Standards Register and review its Details and All versions views. A copied file or third-party summary should not be treated as the current controlled edition without this check.
Update feed
The ICEQC Atom feed provides machine-readable links and summaries for publicly accessible controlled documents. It supports discovery and monitoring; the document record remains authoritative.
