Basic eligibility
- The applicant can identify the legal entity that will hold responsibility for the proposed certificate.
- The proposed certification object falls within an ICEQC certification scheme that is accepting applications.
- The applicant controls, or can require conformity across, every site, delivery mode, service, system or partner included in scope.
- Applicable legal permissions and professional dependencies can be identified and evidenced.
- The applicant accepts public disclosure of the certified scope and certificate status if certification is granted.
Readiness for assessment
Readiness concerns evidence, not presentation. Policies and plans are insufficient where a requirement concerns implemented practice or results. The applicant should hold a representative body of current records showing how the proposed scope operates and how identified problems are corrected.
Scope information
Legal entities, trading names, locations, digital environments, learner groups, programmes, delivery modes, material providers and proposed exclusions.
Operating evidence
Current records, data, completed cases, learner information, personnel records, monitoring outputs and management action.
Access for verification
Authorized access to personnel, systems, samples, live demonstrations and relevant specialist evidence.
Capacity to correct
Named accountability and sufficient time and resources to address nonconformities identified during assessment.
