Continuing obligations
- Maintain conformity throughout the complete certified scope.
- Keep the legal holder, included operations and public scope accurate.
- Cooperate with planned and triggered surveillance activity.
- Notify ICEQC of material changes without waiting for the next scheduled review.
- Use the certificate and mark only in the form and scope authorized.
- Address complaints, incidents, adverse trends and suspected misuse that may affect certification confidence.
Surveillance
Surveillance verifies continuing conformity and does not repeat the initial assessment mechanically. ICEQC considers prior findings, changes, complaints, incidents, performance information, scope components and the planned coverage of applicable requirements across the certification cycle.
Material changes
Identity or control
Legal name, ownership, accountable governance, merger, acquisition or restructuring.
Certified scope
New or closed sites, programmes, learner groups, delivery modes, jurisdictions or material exclusions.
Operations and risk
Material technology, provider, staffing, safeguarding, data, continuity, incident or regulatory change.
Public claims
A proposed change to the way certification, the ICEQC mark or included activities are represented.
Renewal and status action
Renewal requires a new authorized decision before the current validity period ends. Where conformity or certification integrity is not maintained, ICEQC may require corrective action and may suspend, reduce, withdraw, terminate or allow the certificate to expire in accordance with the applicable record and decision procedure.
