Understanding Certificate Status

Certificate status must be read with the scope, applicable edition and validity dates. A status applies to the public record from its authorized effective point.

Public certificate information review

Current certification statuses

Active

Certification is current for the exact scope and validity period shown, subject to continuing conformity and surveillance.

Suspended

Certification is temporarily not valid for public reliance during the stated suspension. The holder must not represent the suspended scope as currently certified.

Scope reduced

Certification remains current only for the reduced scope shown in the register. Removed activities are no longer certified.

Restored

A prior suspension has been lifted by an authorized decision. The current register scope and dates govern.

Inactive statuses

Withdrawn

ICEQC has ended certification by an authorized status decision. The certificate is not current.

Expired

The stated validity period ended without a new authorized certification record taking effect.

Terminated

The certification agreement and certificate status have ended under the applicable procedure.

Superseded

The record has been replaced by another authorized certificate record or identifier; follow the replacement reference where shown.
