Relevant
The evidence addresses the fact or condition required by the applicable assessment unit.
Authentic
Origin, ownership, date, version and integrity can be confirmed to an appropriate degree.
Representative
Samples cover material learner groups, sites, programmes, modes, time periods and risk conditions in the proposed scope.
Current and sufficient
The evidence demonstrates present operation and is adequate to support the determination without unsupported inference.
Remote verification methods
- Authenticated document and record review.
- Data reconciliation across independent sources.
- Interviews with accountable personnel, educators, learners and other relevant parties.
- Live system demonstration and witnessed activity.
- Remote tour or real-time observation where appropriate.
- Direct confirmation and recognized specialist evidence for conditions outside ICEQC's direct competence or remote reach.
Limits of remote evidence
Remote assessment does not convert an unobservable physical, technical, regulated or safety condition into a verified fact. Where an applicable condition cannot be established through reliable remote methods or recognized independent evidence, ICEQC will seek further evidence, limit the scope, record a nonconformity or decline to make a positive determination.
Confidentiality and access
Evidence is submitted through the controlled Certification Portal. Applicants must not send learner records or sensitive case files by ordinary email. Access is limited according to assignment, and public certificate records exclude assessment evidence and personal data.
